I'm sorry if this was asked already but I could not find any information no matter how much I googled...

If I load up the amaze n smoker with saw dust, do i need to remove the amaze n smoker once all the dust turns black, or is it ok? I just don't want to add any soot or bitter flavor to the food

No, you can leave it alone until after your smoke is finished. The ash will stay where it is unless you get rough with the smoker and it goes air-born...no different with charcoal fires or smoke wood chips/chunks.
