Yes, That is what I said...  TARGET!!!  Our local Target just recently (sometime this summer) expanded it's grocery section.  A buddy of mine told me that they had baby backs for 2 bucks a pound.  I ran down after work, but I was skeptical.  Sure enough, did they not only have baby backs for 2 bucks a pound, but they also had St. Louis ribs for 2 bucks a pound as well!  I was amazed.  Sign said it was a sale through the 23rd of September (this sunday).  I didn't want to take any chances.  I grabbed all the racks they had left!!!  I know, I'm evil!

Just figured I would share and see if anyone else could get some too!

Same thing here. They are the Hormel brand and packed in solution. Alot of it. I have had them and they aren't awful but they can get a little hammy tasting as they are basically brined.

I will use them at home but would never use them at a catering gig.

Still better than a poke in the eye!

I have to "cater" my in-laws anniversary dinner.  It is only going to be the immediate family (my wife's siblings and their families) so I will use them then.  I have two racks of spare ribs, two racks of baby backs and two racks of beef ribs.  Hopefully that is enough for 9 adults!

Actually trying something different with the beef ribs.  I put some tender quick on them so I am hoping for corned beef ribs.  We will see.
