My nephew smoked me a couple racks of ribs 2 weeks ago & I'm hooked. I've started my first build as a RF using a 50 gallon propane cylinder and a grease for the fire box. Both were brand new & free so it made perfect sense. I still have a way to go as you can see in the pic, but the thought of eating more of those ribs has me plenty motivated.

I'm comfortable with everything I know of that I need to do as of now, but my one question is the cooking grate. Should it be stainless steel or is regular steel ok?

any other suggestions are welcome

thanks,
