Hey everybody, last week I finished the rebuild of what I call Lil Smokey. I made some beef ribs and a brisket last week, with pretty good results, so I am going for a pork butt this weekend. The packaging called it a "Pork Shoulder Boston Roast." So, I am assuming this is what everybody calls a "Boston Butt."rted last night with taking some store bought rub and doing a little tweaking for what we like. Rubbed the butt down and put it back in the frig over night.

Ready for smoking. I saw here on the boards that some people let the meat sit out before smoking, so the meat can warm up a little. I did that. I will be smoking with apple wood.

Looks like your off to a great start!!! We will be waiting for your progress reports...

Okay, here are the results. There is some pull back on the bone and the entire piece of meat is tender.

Used a couple of forks to pull that baby apart. I dumped the juices from the foil over the pork, It is absolutely delicious.

Thanks for all of the great ideas. I can't wait to try more things with some help from you guys.
