Question about when to apply rub for ribs

I'm smoking some baby backs tomorrow and will start around noon. Tomorrow morning is really hectic for me so I was thinking of applying the rub tonight but that's about 15 hours before I start to cook them. Is that to far ahead of time or will it matter?

Thanks. I figured I was probably overthinking it.

Can't wait to get 'em going. I haven't smoked anything in about 3 weeks and am having withdrawls.

I almost always rub ribs or anything else the night before, as long as it stays refrigerated below 40* (35* is better) it will be fine.

I rub the ribs the nite before then reapply before I smoke them
