Saint Johns Florida
[h5]Hi Folks,

I live in Saint Johns, FL  1/2 way between Jacksonville and Saint Augustine.  Perfect place to grill year round. I Bit hot July and August, but then we get 10 months of nice weather.

My first grilling session went very well, I served a really tasty rack of Baby Ribs. I wrote down what I did and called the Recipe “Beginners Luck Ribs” .. I will post when I get a minute.

I am fairly new to BBQ.  I used “lower priced” metal Kamado ... a few times.. But I sent it back .. (long story deleted).  Hayneedle was very good about taking it back.

I ordered a new:

Saffire Kamado Jasper Red Grill and Smoker with Cart and Shelves[/h5][h5]
It was a bit pricy but I wanted a solid safe Grill that I could leave to my Kid ..
Does anyone have a Saffire Grill ? I would like to get a Saffire Thread going if there is interest.

Some of the reasons joined this site is to get some help with Recipes, and purchasing meat online. Are there any online sites where I can buy meat at a reasonable price? I looked at some sites but I am not willing to pay $69 for 4 lamp chops.

Cheers
Fred

Hey

Ive never ordered meat online. I always get mine locally at sams, costco, local meat markets etc...

I would think with shipping charges and the chance of spoilage, it might be just as good to get meat locally. That way you can look at it and see the fat content etc..

I do not own a Saffire but it looks really close to the Egg and the Chargriller.  Heard great things about them so you should do fine with that.

You already did the hard part and paid for it lol...

But hey just my .02
