Found the website by accident and joined yesterday. This is my very first forum to join. I live in Texas (DFW area). Been around for a while but not even a rookie at smoking yet. Do not have a smoker and currently researcing what smoker to buy. So many types of choices. Of course every manufacturer says their's is the best. T thought I wanted a Oklahoma Joe's offsetr smoker but hear they are not made the same as they used to be and the new ones leak smoke and hard top maintain temperature.  I think I want a Lang 36" offset smoker (maybe with a char-grill) or a Horizon offset. Been grilling all of my adult life and have a Weber gas grill and add soaked wood chips in a foil bag to the fire is my only experience.

Read a few articles on the forum yesterday and would love any recommendations on a great smoker and/or smokers to stay away from.
