Folks, I love interacting with fellow brick smokers. If you have a question about building a brick smoker, please be sure you have read the thread. I've put a lot of effort into this information. I've also included the pros and cons of my smoker. I've given honest does and don'ts from my smoker. If after reading through the build part of the thread and you have questions, I'll be more then glad to help. I always look forward to your comments and input.
If you are building a brick smoker, I'd love for you to start a new thread. Not only would I love to see your progress, many others here would also love to see it. Just because many don't smoke in the bricks, they love to see your creations.
I hope everyone has a great week-end!
Haha, I forgot about that. :-)
The paint I used was an industrial black. I did spray them, but feel I would have gotten a better coat of paint if I had brushed them. They need repainting now. I will probably use a heat paint next time. The heat and grease is hard on paint. Weather is also hard on it too.
Folks, I am proud to say we now have a brick smoker page here on SMF.
We have been granted a trial run to see how much interest is out there. If you have any questions, I'd love for you to post them on that page. I will put a link to this build there.
Please post anything to do with a masonry smoker there. I'll answer any question you have to the best of my ability.
I'm excited about this. I hope everyone has a great day!
