I'm still very new here but have read almost everything. I've made a couple of batches of BBB and CB that turned out well. I have been searching for a source of pork bellies in our area with little luck. Well, the wife sweet talked the butchers at the Fort Bragg Commissary. They said they would order us a case but did not know how much it would cost or when it would come in. After three weeks went by I had given up. Just a few minutes ago my wife got the call that a 32 lb case had arrived and we could pick it up. The best part it is only $1.97 a pound! We'll pick it up later today. My wife can charm the birds out of the trees when she wants to. So I will give her a good portion to make Liempo and Lechon Kawali. She's from the Philippines and is an awesome cook.
