Hi All, I've been a lurker here for about a year or so, been smoking meat on and off for about 2 years since I started eating some of the father-in-laws smoked goods and my wife got me a smoker when I decided to get into it. I've got a Brinkmann gas upright (squared one). School (at UF, Go Gators!) has been super busy and since I've decided to drop down to 1 class a term for my next two terms I decided to get back to smoking meat more often.

I've done baby back and country style ribs, chicken wings and a pork loin. I'm going to be doing my first BB in the next couple of weeks, but first this Sunday I'll be throwing some spare ribs on the smoker. Looking to do a modified 3-2-1 for the first time. I love coming on here and looking at all the pics and reading the threads. Very entertaining if I might say so. I've taken a liking to the bacon section and will be looking to do some once I get some more supplies. As for my smoker, I really want a WSM 22 but budget doesn't allow for it at this time and I dream of having a Lang reverse flow but I really don't have the budget for that so I've decided rather than do a UDS, I'm going to make a UDRFS (ugly drum reverse flow smoker). Should be interesting but looking forward to trying. Anyways I'll probably be more visible now and participate more on the forums.
