Sup Chef's,

Hey I bought some ingred. for a vegi fatty, (califlower, broc. cheeses) My wife and I love steamed vegi' so I'm gonna make us a fatty with vegi's and cheese sauce. 

Question: my wife seems to think we need to steam the vegi's first before rolling, we don't want raw vegi's in our fatty.

So any advise will be greatly excepted.

If I was doing this I would steam them for maybe 2-3 minutes then into an ice bath to stop the cooking and shock them - it will help with the color too. I would also add some mushrooms, spinach  and some red onion  
 
Welcome to the forum!!!  A veggie fatty sounds good.  I too think you might want to steam the veggies first as those guys suggest.  I want to make one of these too, and veggies sound great.  As a matter of fact fatties sound good.  And Scar, the extra goodies make it sound even better!  Keep on keeping on!  Steve
 
If it's a veggi fatty what are you going to wrap your veggies in? Or are youu thinking a omnivors delight of sausage stuffed with veggies? 

I'm confused!

Ok, I had a great day with the smoker today, I did add the steam the vegi and ice bath, great tip, thanks everyone, and I also added Red onion, and Spinach, thanks again scarbelly!!!

bacon, ground beef, layer of candian bacon, cali-flower, brocolli, red onion, spinach, chedar and motzrella cheese's,






Taste Great, touch dry for me so I Melted a bit of velveta with a splash of milk to top it off.  Yum.....
 
Sorry said it had a problem so i tried again now it's like double post, went to editor and can't figure how to delete one of them.
