qd, morning...  looks good..... Are we going to see it sliced or pulled ??   We need more pics...   Dave
 
I've never seen anyone put crushed kingsford in the AMNPS, tell me more about that, what does it do and how does it affect the burning of the pellets? Is it just regular charcoal?
 
It's just regular old Kingsford.  This is actually the first time I've tried it. I'm hoping it will help with the formation of a smoke ring (that's the theory at least). So far, it doesn't appear to have affected the burn of the pellets at all.

Wow! That's a great looking piece of meat. I've yet to work up the nerve to try a brisket, but posts like this certainly help.
