Hey everyone my name is Greg. From Louisiana and I reside in Vernon parish. I am fairly new to smoking food on my own though my father and I did it as I was growing up. For some reason things turn out different. I enjoy cooking in general and smoking is becoming a fast hobby of mine. I serve in the army national guard as a crew chief in a medevac unit (uh60) And I work at autozon as a driver. I also hold firm to Christian belief . I am a widower with a 19 month old girl. Been using the forums in this sight without comming here so do forgive me for not properly introducing myself. Hope to learn many things here.

WELCOME....... I also have just started smoking. Man its fun. I have had the smoker burning three out of four weekends this summer.

THANKS for serving in the military!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Greg these guys and gals are a great help..... Use them we have some masters of the smoker here.

Thanks for all the welcomes everyone.  I just updated my profile.  I am in the process of smoking somehting righ now :)  11lbs pork but i wil be sure to post pics in appropriare thread.
