OK. Been a bit busy lately and this is not the best QView as I lost some of the pics, but here it goes.
Cut out the bottom from expanded metal.
Another view
These were cut out from what was left. A little over 2 feet 3 inches long.
They can only be 3 1/2 inches to 4 inches tall.
Bent them over my knee to get approx shape.
Completed basket.
Used coat hanger wire to connect them.
Another view. Any "Finish" on the coat hanger will burn off at first use.
