Starting my vacation, or stay-cation this afternoon at 4:00 pm. Wife has a teacher conference and my 15 year old daughter is going to the West coast with my Mom, so no babysitter. It'll be just me and my little one hanging out. Hopefully swimming, napping, golfing, napping and cooking. Unfortunately, it has been raining here on the Gulf Coast of Texas for 7 days and by the forecast will be raining for another 5. So it might be more of the napping than anything else, but I won't complain. I may try dragging the trailer pit on the carport, leaving the firebox and exhaust just out in the rain and knock out a few briskets, ribs and some yardbird (gotta practice the chix, got a few comps coming up). Might try to get a couple smokes in the next week. Hope everyone has a great weekend!
