Hello all, my name is Matt, I live in schertz tx ( north east of San Antonio) for those of u wondering lol. I love the site I have already read and learned a lot in the little bit I have been on here. As for pit I am making a pit with fire box out of an 55 gallons drum and a old but good size new braunfels grill. When I'm done making I'll put pic up. I know I'll prob be asking a lot of questions so I will apologize now lol. Thank you again.

Does anyone have any pointers for me with the grill. I'm not sure about the dampers. Any suggestions would be very helpful thanks again.

Hey Matt, Sorry i don't know anything about them but if you posted your question in the "Smoker Builds" forum I bet you would get a lot more exposure and answers.
