So I picked up my new to me WSM today, got it for $100. The only problem is it has no temp gauge. Where should I mount one? Or should I mount two if so where?

Just get a digital probe thermometer like the Maverick ET-732.

Agreed.  Everyone complains that dome mounted gages are inaccurate anyway.
