I love smoked foods and have done a few things with "home smokers". Want to buld a nice one from a 275 gal fuel oil tank.

I have some designs in mind. But first would like to know how people clean these things to be able to smoke with em.

Hopefully I don't wear you out with my rookie questions. I haven't seen a lot of smokeres around here in Appleton to compare to.
