I am toying with an idea for stuffing a smoked pork loin.

I am thinking of trying some bratwurst from a local butcher shop mixed with sauerkraut. Then throwing it on the smoker.

The brats from Oscars Sausage Haus are nothing short of amazing on their own.

Anyone try a stuffing like this? Thoughts?
 
I think it sounds great. We do not have any decent brats in this area. The best I have found are the Johnsonville Beer -n - Brats.

I say go for it. When your done EMAIL me a taste ;)
 
I saw on a post a while ago where someone had done that, just can't remenber if i saw it on here or another site. I know that they had taken a knife and cut out the center of the loin and then slid the brats in that way. Looked good from what I saw.

I think we are going to give it a shot hopefully this weekend or next. Will try to take some pic's and let ya know how it goes.
