Hi everyone.  My name is Tim and I live in northern New Jersey.  I have been using a Char-Broil and Brinksman smoker with a side firebox for the last three years.  Have been smoking brisket, ribs and turkey during this time.  Along with these I really want to get into pork.  Last three years have been doing thanksgiving turkey on smoker but the last two just as a bbq ( no smoke).  Came out excellent and made wife happy that oven wasn't tied up.  Looking forward to using this forum and meeting the members.  Thanks...... TIm

Hello Tim and welcome to SMF! Sounds like you are well on your way!

Would you mind updating your profile to include your location please? It helps when answering questions to know where you are.

Pork Butt is pretty easy although takes a while to smoke it at low and slow. Use the search bar at the top of the page to read threads on smoking pork butts or pulled pork.
