I need recommendations on cook times and IT's for a 12 lb brisket and 6 lb butt that will be served at 6pm EDT this Sunday (Fathers Day). Need to factor time for burnt end too. Using Oklahoma Joe offwet and pllan to fire with combination of Stubbs Natural briq's and Good One Lump. Also suggestions for mix of briqs/lump for overnight if that's going to be needed.[/U]Thanks.

I cant help with the brisket but as far as the butt; assume it would take 1.5 hrs per pound. so roughly 9 hours, but make sure you go off of internal temp and not time. I like to to take mine to an internal temp of 165 then wrap them double wrap them in foil and then take them somewhere between 195 and 205. Once they are done you can wrap them in old beach towels then stick them in a cooler for several hours to rest. Also this will give you some leeway if things are running over on the brisket. Hope this helps and good luck.
