Holy cow.  You must of scored a great deal on a lot of, what looks like 1/2"x4" steel, to make it worth welding it all together to make a firebox out of. I'm amazed you kept it flat with that much weld.  Looks great.  You'll be able to cook for an army with that.  Are you making the reverse flow plate out of the same bar stock?

Also, it looks like you get to hunt what you're cooking.  Nice....

WOW awesome build you got going there. Are you building it under a tree? By the looks of those welds I thought maybe there was a large bird purched above it. lol, I'm a welder by trade so I thought I'd give you a bad time.

Looks good, Can't wait to see it finished.

I got the hole cut out in the fire box and got it where I can adjust it . I also got the baffel plate cut out it needs to be welded in. I also got my stack put on . My son leaves for the airforce monday and it was my goal for him to see smoke come out before he left so i let him stack it up and lite it it was a good feeling watching it for the first time. it worked good and got very hot some of the 1/2 inch steel got a little red . I will post more as i get futher along. I do have a Q the more i cut and weld on it the doors are getting where they need to be adjusted I hope as i keep going it will fall back into place .

You must have a lot of time on your hands to weld all that. I been known to do stuff like that because my wife says I am cheap.

Can't wait to see this come along. Keep up the good work.
