Our group donated a dinner that was auctioned off for over $300. The dinner was for 10 people and the folks that bought the dinner wanted a German dinner

The menu

Crustless Quiche

Brie Kisses (kids forgot to take pic)

Salad with a dressing from Germany (again no pic)

Rouladen

Spatzle

Cheesecake Strawberries

The kids got here at 2PM and prepared the entire meal and were ready to serve when the guests arrived at 6PM - They did an awesome job and  the folks loved the food

Here they are making the Rouladen - it is a beef dish that includes onion, bacon, pickles and mustard rolled up and cooked in a gravy

We had one of the kids with a broken wing so he did all the browning of roulades since he could not roll them

The kids all sampled the dishes before we served to make any seasoning adjustments - this is one of the sampling plates with the Rouladen and Spatzle

Thanks for looking - this is the last class for the year as they go off to show their animals at the San Diego Fair this month

Thanks - these kids are just awesome. They work hard and are fearless in trying new recipes and foods they have never tasted.

Gary, morning....  You and bride are doing a great job with the kids.....   Thanks for sharing those moments with us....  Dave

Scott - they made everything from scratch - they did the entire menu in 4 hours and had the appetizers plated and ready to serve when the guests arrived at 6PM. Two of the kids stayed behind and served the salad, dinner and dessert and cleaned up. I got calls from everyone at the dinner raving about how good it was.   Hard to beat a good German dinner
