So this is my setup for first time doing ribs, and it just dawned on my I should ask the vets here what they think of my setup. Any changes I should make? I'm about to light 'er up in 20 minutes or so. I cant get the pics to post so please check them out in my default album. How do I get pics to post in my message?

My best advice is to get going....Those ribs will take some time to get done then they need to rest for a few minutes before you serve them.

That should work but since you are using an Offset and the grill is smallish, make a small fire, 10-15 Briquettes. It is easier to add Charcoal to get more heat then it is to cool things down by removing HOT coals. Also push the unlit charcoal close to the grill and the lit coals on the right side by the air intake...JJ

Ok, i have my basket partially loaded and I'm going to use about half a chimney starter and put that in my basket for the minion method. Should I just use the chimney and add as i go? I'll have the lid open to spray with apple juice every 40-60 minutes anyway, so to add a few briquets when I'm doing that wouldn't be a problem?

I'm not sure how to set up your fire but I can tell you to leave the smoker closed......I'd say for at least 4 hours, then you can do your spraying every hour or so after that. The more you open it the longer it will take for them to get done.

Edit: Of course that is unless you're going to foil them.

I apologize for the double post, I got an error message when I submitted the pics so I didnt think it went, but now I see its up.
The reason your pics aren't showing up and the error message is because you are a new member. All pics from new members have to be approved by a moderator, we do this to cut down on spam and to make sure no one is posting something inappropriate. Just be patient and a moderator will get to it and approve it. This only happens until you have made about 20 posts and we get to know you. Hope that helps!

If you plan to Foil the Ribs you really don't need to Spritz. Just use whatever you mixed up as your Foiling Juice, 1/2C or so per rack will get it done. I would let the basket burn down about 3/4 and look at my time. If you need another 2 or more hours Light a Chimney worth, when you are ready to dump, knock down your ashes and dump on the right side. Control the heat with the air damper...JJ
