Only four smokes so far, but I am addicted. Trying the Minion Method in my Chargriller Pro SFB to see if I can get more stable temps for a longer period of time. First Brisket was awqesome, going to follow the same again....225-240, to IT of 175, Foil with Beer and Worcheshire, then back on until IT 195 , rest one hour then slice...

I used the minion method for my brisket this weekend. It worked great, I must say. The coals lasted about 5 hours with consistent temps until maybe the last 30 min before I added more.
 
Cab - your results were better then mine! What type of smaoker, what type of charcoal did you use? I have the Chargriller Pro SFB. I got about fours hours before I had to start fussing with it...then the last hour I had to deal with too much ash build up..all in all I like it. Trying it again today with Wicked Good lump charcoal
