I have the common older double door Master Forge from Lowes, the one with out the side shelf.  Long story short when I went to smoke something I realized there was a huge hole in my gas line.  I went to Lowes and got a universal replacement gas line, but when I went to take the old one off, I realized I can't.  Not only is it hard to get to and I have had to take the bottom of the smoker apart, I am not having any luck getting the part off.  It looks like it has a part that would screw off, and I can get it to turn, but it doesn't come off.   It is for letting the hose turn.  The part that is connected to has threading, but for the life of me I can't get it of.  Any idea or has this happened to anyone else?

No worries guys. After reading a couple of other post about changing the same smoker from propane to natural gas I realized I was just weak.  I hulk'd up and got it off.  New problem is the replacement hose doesn't fit.

jc, morning....   Take the hose and the old fitting to a local hardware store... find a fitting to adapt the new hose to the old thread... they usually have lots of fittings in the brass section of fittings and one or two should make an adapter....  Dave
