Hey all. I plan on smoking my second ever pork butt on Sunday for a party. How many lbs do you think I need for 20-30 people? Also, the first butt I smoked, I used a finishing sauce that I found on here and it was too hot from the pepper flakes. I like heat, but after the leftovers sat in the fridge overnight, it was insane after I heated it up. I've seen a few vinegar based sauces on here that I wouldn't mind trying, but what are your thoughts on simply using a bottle of perhaps Montgomery Inn BBQ sauce? I usually like to go out on a limb and try new things, but I don't want to screw up the sauce again for this many people. Thanks!
