Vacuum sealed this last batch of PP exactly one month ago.

Family and friends wiped me out pretty fast.... I ate three myself and have four packs left from the lot.

Took out another pack of butts from the freezer last week to thaw and started smoking them last night around 10pm.

Same basic procedure as last time but used Pitmaster's Choice for the smoke instead of cherry. These two took 14hrs

to reach 205° IT. Didn't take many pics because I wasn't going to post this smoke but, here's a few for the SMF gallery.

Thank you! It's kind of a long process to make, but it's definitely worth the effort.

Let's see how long these will last, but either way, I'm done making PP for awhile.

You're right it doesn't last long! It wasn't too long ago I did 2 - 9# butts, a 11# brisket and a bunch of various chicken things and it's all almost gone and I'm the only one eating it!

Your PP sure does look good!!! I'm gonna have to restock soon after seeing that!

LOL I just bought 30#'s of butt to smoke over the weekend. Does not last long here either, so If I'm going to invest the time, I'm going to make a ton of it.

Thanks! Speaking of chicken..... that's one thing out of many I haven't smoked yet. I have a feeling that's not going to stay that way for long.

I hear ya!.... just might double-up next time and smoke four butts.

Thanks Alesia! It didn't take long to put a small dent in the PP. My son stopped over after work today and took six bags. I think he likes it
