southern Ca,
I would like to know, does any one out there heard of this.I don't know if this is new or has the idea been out there for sometime. If you are using compost tea does it cut out the use of a chemical fertilizer and if so what is the N.P.K value

Shawn, evening....  Compost tea.... It is a brew of soluble ingredients in your compost.... Content is based on  what percentage of whatever is in the compost dissolves in the water you put it in.... some elements are not soluble so they won't be in the tea but will remain in the solids...  Never throw away the insoluble matter..... Put it in the soil as an ammendment....

Was this vague enough ??   Don't know how else to explain it....

When  you buy Miracle Grow for instance.... it is usually all soluble.....   Dave
