Hey I'm Charlie, from Long Island and live in Florida now.  I use a chargriller duo setup.  Generally prefer and blend of Hickory, Mesquite, and Cherry wood when I do ribs.  Have not done any smokes longer than six hours, so really excited for some insight from this forum.

Charlie welcome to SMF glad you joined us. You'll find lots of good info and some great recipes here. Have fun and happy smoking

Hey Charlie.  Welcome to SMF.  Glad to see you finally caved in and joined.  You'll find lots of great information here, lots of great people and lots of great recipes.  Be forewarned though, you're going to want to start smoking more so you can show off your skill with some Q-View.  Go for a pork shoulder, well worth the time.

Welcome to SMF
