That's a fantastic looking fatty. I did a pizza fatty, or maybe it was a fatty pie awhile back...man, what a meal that made...if it's got Italian ingredients, you pretty much have a guaranteed winner...this one you have here is way too cool!
Cheeseburger - Ground Chuck, shredded cheddar cheese, real bacon bits, & seasonings
Really like the way the Italian one turned out. It was very tasty and went fast! The cheeseburger stood around a while as it was fairly boring. Didn't taste like a burger or a smoked burger but something all together different that I still can't place my finger on. Not sure what I can do to livin it up.
For the cheeseburger fatty, you may want to add caramelized onion and fresh button mushrooms (mushroom-bacon cheeseburger)...sometimes just some subtle extra touches can take it to new heights.
Fatties up next:
Buffalo Chicken - Ground Chicken, Wing sauce, & blue cheese crumbles
Interesting concept...I'd go easy with the sauce and toss the meat into it before filling, then the cheese should thicken it up when it smokes and cools slightly with a brief rest.
Chili Cheese Dog - Ground Chuck, a few hot dogs, canned chili, Velveeta cheese, sour cream
I'd go with medium or mild cheddar instead of Velveeta, for the higher melting point, so will thicken the chili so it's not so runny when you slice it open.
Also, with moister fillings, be sure to rest for a few minutes before slicing so they can settle down some and thicken up a little.
Thoughts or suggestions for next time with what I made or even suggestions for the fatties us next?
