Hi all,

Just found this forum today and wanted to jump in and say Hi. I'm just outside Syracuse, NY near Oneida lake (the 5th best Bass lake in the county so they tell me).

I have a Brinkman smoker and do a fair amount of meat and salmon, but last summer I built a wood fired oven in my back yard and now I'm starting to experiment with that a bit more so hopefully I can be of some help if anybody is interested in that sort of thing. The weather here is usually pretty horrible from Oct to May, but this year it's been outstanding, very little snow so I'm getting an early start on my outdoor cooking this year!

Sipde, welcome......  Glad you found us and stopped in.....  Looking forward to your contributions and maybe some pics of your smoking equipment in action...  Even a few pics of the food would be good...  We love pics (q-views) here... Please take the time to include Syracuse, NY in the location in your profile for future reference... It help when diagnosing problems or questions.. also helps to let folks in your locale know who might want to attend a local gathering of Q-lovers....    Have a great day and enjoy your new addictive forum..and the long smokey ride....

Dave

Welcome Sipde, you'll love it here at SMF.
Don't let them bass fisherman fool ya although it is good enough for the Bass Masters Series to stop in every once in a while the Walleye and Perch are king in Oneida Lake. I just happen to have a little bit of heaven I could sell ya if you'd like to be on the water,

Thanks for the free advertisement Jeff
