I'm new to the whole smoking thing and have tried the various smoking bags you put in the oven which only set off smoke alarms in the flat and did nothing for the meats flavour then tried the biscuit tin smoker that cremated the sausages since it was too hot and also tried the liquid smoke you buy in bottles which I think is cheating. So have joined the forums on here to get a bit of guidance.
I have just bought myself a ProQ Cold Smoke Generator so I can flavour beef steaks before I dry then to make jerky but unfortunately living in a flat with communal gardens can’t build a permanent hot or cold smoker so am limited to what I can try.
