Hello EveryoneNew to the site, just came across it yesterday and looks to be a lot of info here.My first smoker was an electric Brinkman about ten years ago. Bought books and smoked all kinds of foods. After about seven years just wore it out rusted apart. Friend gave and old frige and I converted it into a smoker used it a couple of years and just lost interest was so Big took forever to smoke something in it. About a month ago one of my friends said he had just bought a new smoker and how much he liked it. My wife looked up on internet and found an electric smoker on sale. 30" Masterbuild Electric Smoker for$119.00 came by way of UPS last Wednesday. Thursday did a one hour smoke and burn, then added one large pkg. rope sausage. It was good but a little over cooked. Ordered a remote Redi-Check Food Thermometer should be here in a couple of days. Look forward to reading and sharing with All of you. Kermit

Thanks for the greetings. I am smoking fish for dinner tonight. Love the smell of smoke

coming from outside. It is 61 here this afternoon. Posted a photo of my new smoker in

the test area to see, when they allow it to be seen. Then I hope to figure out how to fill

my photo album up with photos. Have a great day everyone. Kermit
