Hi. My name is Al. New guy here from Northern Minnesota. Tried a little smoking before, but don't know enough about it. I have a webber black kettle, and a propane Masterbuilt kettle. I just bought a Masterbuilt smoker digital electric smoker with a temp probe, remote, and glass in the door. I got such a great deal on it that I couldn't pass it up. Now I would like to try this as well. AL

Well still kind of cold up here. Had 3" of snow about 3 miles away from me last night. We had it comming down pretty hard while at work yesterday, but none of it stuck.

OH...by the way, I am from Farmington MN. I have a cabin near Aitkin about 30 miles from Brainerd. Northern Minnesota is nothing less than God country...What a great place to live...
