Hi everyone! My name is Kris and live in Connecticut (for the past 16 years; previously in Arizona). Love grilling and smoking and have been in a two small local "rib-off" competitions (last year took home the "Kid's Choice" award and placed third in the Overall). I started smoking a couple years ago with a Brinkmann "Smoke n Grill" smoker and last year went with their offset "Smoke n Pit". Recently purchased a BBQ Guru, which I am looking forward to using this year along with a couple of mods I am working on (fire basket, heat diffuser and trying to seal her up some!). Would love any guidance / feedback from those of you who have the BBQ Guru (especially if using it on an offset like mine) and any Smoke n Pit modification tips / secrets you may have.
