Hey guys I just wanted to introduce myself and say Hello from WV. I am completely new to the smoking world. I have been grilling and cooking for a long time time. Now I am wanting to get into some true BBQ. I have been told I have the best pulled pork around. But I want to take that to the next level.
Currently I am hoping to build a smoker, hopefully I am not in over my head. But I am trying to build the first one to learn the basics and to the the hang of it, I may buy one down the road. !!!!!!Please check out my questions in the Food Safety section.!!!!!! All help would be appreciated I am hoping to start to build my Smoker starting tomorrow as I acquire a few more pieces SO far I have not spent anything for the pieces I do have and just have picked them up here and there, but i am sure I that will be changing soon. I will be posting pics along the way. As of right now I am looking to use and old wood stove as my firebox and also a 55 gallon drum as my cooking vessel.
