Hi GLT14 here, new to smoking from south central minn, bought a masterbuilt 30 electric smoker, looking forward to doing a whole chicken today, tried ribs last night good flavor but I got them to dry. look forward to this site and all the good info and experiance

Check out the 3-2-1 method. It works awesome on da-ribs. You can find it on here or google it....Welcome to SMF! Land of the free and home to many meat smoker dudes and dolls....smilie_flagge13.gif

welcome1.gif to SMF . You have come to the right place for smoking info. This site is loaded with great info just use the search bar at top of page to find what you are looking for. If you can't locate the answer just ask folks here are willing to share there knowledge. I suggest you take  the 5 day e-course on smoking its chuck full of great info. Smoking  5-Day e-Course 

 

For ribs use the 3-2-1 methid for spares and the 2-2-1 for BB. Hard to go wrong using them.
