Where the motor home is parked
WOW - I know I was here before, but couldn't remember my username (new computer) or password.

Since the last time I was here we've sold our boats, bought a mobile home in North Dakota (and wintered over 1 year), returned to Ca and bought a motor home.  Now all of our "stuff" has been in storage in ND for over a year, including our smoker.  We're "work camping" in WA now - meaning we get our RV site for working at various jobs here.  Since we've been here a while we broke down and bought a smoker - a nice little Masterbuilt digital electric that is small enough to take with us as we travel.

So far we've been recalling the stuff we loved the most - trying to source pork bellies, jowls, and all the other goodies that we love.  Tonight we did a pastrami.  We've done a chicken and a pork butt and have a turkey breast to go on soon.  We've missed this so much and hope to become active members again and reconnect with you all.

Looking forward to having a lot of fun here again!

Sharon

Welcome back...I like the idea that you can now bring the smoker with you in the MH....

Hi Sharon - welcome back. I too have a smoker in the motorhome and am really itching to go full time in a couple of years like you have.

Thank you all for the warm welcome.  We did a pastrami this weekend that was amazing!  I'm looking forward to finding time to browse - see if I can find some of my old posts regarding "fatties"!  I'm thinking it's fattie time!
