For my sister visit i prepared in advance corned  beef  sirloin

After 2 weeks in the brain washed  it  and  rubbed  it   in b pepper ,garlic powder, coriander rub .

Put in the smoker at 220-230  with  oak wood  till  IT 175  It took 13hours

it came out real  good but i think brisket is a better cut for pastrami

Thanks for looking

Somebody on this site did a tri tip pastrami.

Expensive cut of meat for that purpose, but it got me to thinking how good it might be?  I have toyed with the idea of a bottom round.  So many things to try!

Good luck and good smoking.
