Hi, my name is Mike and I live in Ocala, Fl and I am new to smoking. I recently purchased a Master Forge 30" electric smoker on clearance that I could not pass up. So far I have tried ribs, chicken quarters, bologna chub and a ribbed pork loin. Looking forward to learning a lot. Thanks.

We are all still learning. Smoking is truly an art that is never fully mastered, with excuses to have a little fun thrown in.

Thank you everyone for your warm hospitality and welcoming me. It just reinforces my recommendation of this site to a customer I had the other day. he was looking at a char griller duo with the side box attachment the other day and wanted some advice on smoking. I told him what little bit knew and referred him to this site. And told him how helpful and pleasant every one is here and all the information and experience everyone shares. I look forward to sharing photos of my past smoking endeavors and plan on many more. Thanks again to you all.
