Any suggestions on a shelf/counter  would be helpful, like using wood or metal for the shelf pros/cons. Thanks

Some expanded metal framed with angle iron or square tubing would work well.

Weld some square tubing to the front of the under the door, using it as a receiver and make a removable shelf or something that hinges…….

Its not much, i built it all out of scrap i had laying around, but it sure does cook good!! the tank was an underground butane tank that was 14'long. Have a few more things to do to the trailer.. Fenders/lights etc. and gonna try to come up with something to fill the gap between the trailer and the cook chamber. Any ideas on sealing the door? Ive got flatbar around the door but it still leaks.. Ive heard fiberglass rope works well, but how do you attatch it?
