I have been smoking with a Charcoal smoker for 2 years now.  But my amazing neighbor gave me an old Cookshack Smokette Original (older version of this one).   The manual was not included.    So I have two questions

A) where can I find a manual?  Cookshack wants $8 for it but there has to be a PDF floating around the internet somewhere

B) I haven't looked at it too closely yet, but where do I put the wood??

C) How awesome is my neighbor?!?!?!?!

I can't wait to use this glorified crockpot.  Set it and forget it baby!!

Thanks All

I found the manual for a very similar SmokinTex 1400.  That will work

1) Don't know

2) You will probably end up putting the wood between the parts of the heating element.  The general consensus is to use chunks or dry chips wrapped in aluminum foil shaped like a baseball.  Poke holes in foil with a skewer or fork.

3) Fairly awesome.
