I figured i would introduce myself after receiving a nice welcome message from Jeff.
Most people know my username from my Youtube contributions via the world of flight simulation. I'm a 38 year old husband and father of a beautiful girl.
I live just south of Seattle, 6000 miles away from where i was born and raised in northern Norway. Somehow impulsively decided to move to the US in 1997 and have been here ever since.
I am a career retailer, entering my 21st year within the field.
People who knows me well would describe me as a strong ADHD personality, probably the reason i have a quarter of my garage dedicated to my simulator. My most recent impulse decision was building my own smoker. I love cooking and replaced my passion for grilling with a craze for smoking late last fall. I started with a Brinkman but decided that charcoal wasnt for me. Then i went to a nice Bradley but decided it was too small. ADHD told me to build my own smokehouse, which i did. The picture below shows you how it stands today, with a re-designed smoke chamber. The concept of the chamber is the same as the chamber in the video clip, except i decided to make it bigger and mirror the style of the smokehouse itself.
The unit has captured a lot of attention among friends and i now find myself with 2 orders for slightly smaller units.
Be kind, i'm still just a rookie :)
