Get the A-MAZE-N pellet unit in my opinion... it will smoke well using both dust and/or pellets. Dust is great to use for cold smoking because it raises the internal temp of the smoker less for warmer ambient temperatures; and if it is a cooler temp in the 30º to 40º temp the pellets work great for the cold smoke by raising the smoker temp 20º to 30º for a perfect cold smoke.

X2...The AMNPS is more versatile being able to use both...Plus the Dust burning AMNS does not work so good with Hot Smoking...The AMNPS don't care what temp your smoker is running at, works the same...JJ

I have been one of the testers and will tell you - the AMNPS is the way to go. Uses both formats very well
