For this price with plastic gears. Might as well invest an extra 20 and get the LEM 5 with metal gears.

HUMMMM lets see here 20 bucks more for metal gears over plastic gears. Seams to be a no brain-er to me, I'll buy metal over plastic any day for that small a difference.

I just purchased the LEM 5# over the weekend at Sportsman's Warehouse for $134.99 (President's Day Sale 10% off) and it's normally $149.99 and they have free shipping through Feb 24 using code PDAY1. I used it to stuff 2.5 lbs of snack sticks and I'm headed in to stuff another batch. No problems and easy easy clean up. I took Rick's advice and greased the O ring. I love it!

That Cabelas stuffer with the plastic gears could be bought much cheaper elsewhere.

Good luck and good smoking.
