Well found the site just googling some stuff, but like my user name states im a smokin n00blet, because i have never smoke anything in my life till a couple days ago.

Name is Brandon, im in the army. born, raised, and stationed in NC.  I dont have a smoker, so i just used my gas grill with a cast iron skillet(for the smoker "box") and they didnt turn out to bad.i used store bought rub and bbq sauce just to try and see if they turned out good.  They did, even tho i think i cooked them on too high of heat, but they turned out perty decent.

But I know everyone loves pics, so on to them.  Any positive or negative comment are welcomed.  Thanks again, see yall around

If you can't locate the answer just ask folks here are willing to share there knowledge. I suggest you take  the 5 day e-course on smoking its chuck full of great info. Smoking  5-Day e-Course

 Your links don't work. The easiest way to post pics is insert them from your computer. In the tool bar at the top of the posting window, in the same tab as the smiley face click the square box it will say insert image, click choose file, and locate it on your computer, double click the pic and then click submit. This will insert it into your post.

Thanks everyone for the replies once I get to a computer I'll post in more detail.  But I got back from Afghanistan last August and it was something else I tell ya

Hello Brandon and welcome to SMF, and thank you for your service. This is a great site, with helpful people and loads of info!

Your links don't work but I too did my first smoking on the grill. I did a couple fatties and canadian bacon! It was fun but a bear controlling the temps. I now have a Masterbuilt 40" with remote and love it!

up dated 1st post with pics that work.  Gonna lay claim to my own thread and my smoking adventures here soon.  I have 2 racks of baby backs on the smoker now(i bought it today)

Thanks for the support and yea, just being patient and trying not to rush stuff.

Question, i have been looking around and dont know where to start my own thread about the stuff i smoke and do.  Im not a show off but everyone loves pictures and seeing the end result of smoking(atleast i do anyway).
