Pulled Pork & Kimchi Fried Rice Wrap Q-View

I have a batch of homemade vegetarian kimchi that came out great and, since kimchi goes well with pork, I decided to do a butt and put it all together.  Pretty basic but lots of flavor, a soft tortilla, kimchi fried rice, pulled pork, shredded cheese, and a dash of BBQ sauce.  It was very good but one change for next time - a non-mustard rub/sauce would go better with the kimchi.

On the smoker it goes...

Kimchi fried rice ingredients; day old rice (made with chicken broth), toasted sesame oil, onions, kimchi.

FINALLY! - 14 hours for a 5.4 pound butt - we ate late.  Nice bark.

...and it's pulled - I love those bear claws!

and just before the "wrap" - I called 'em burritos but the Mrs. thinks wraps is more accurate - whatever you call it, it was very good!

Thanks for looking!

If you guys like Kimchi google kimchi spaghetti.  I can't stand the taste of kimchi but my wife and two daughters love the stuff.

Nevermind here is the link

Pork looks good to me?

Duane, give us another kimchi recipe to go along with Jeremy's?  Something I have always wanted to try and haven't done yet.

Good luck and good smoking.

Kimchi is either you love it or you hate it.  Mrs. can't stand it and even sprays the house with Lysol.  Everyone else loves it.  I don't care for the fish/oyster/squid sauces.  Here is a pic of my last batch with my monster kimchi bowl and colander - I like it as a side dish for the first week or so but once the fermentation gets going it starts getting sour (as it is supposed) too. After 6 weeks, it is really good in kimchi beef stew and fried rice.

That recipe looks awesome and I am definitely going to try it, thank you!

Mmm, kimchee wraps!

I know what I'm making next weekend!

I'll have to make some kalbi for the family... that's the only way I get to eat kimchee.

Oh, kimchee stewed with some beef is great too!
