Hello, my name is backporch and I'm a chain smoker. I'm from Gillsville,GA. I was introduced to smoke by my cousin about 6 yrs ago. I'm here because I can't quit. I'm addicted. I started on an old home made propane tank with a fire box. It was too big for small smokes so I got me a brinkman. Wore it out. I got me another one. Wore it out. So for CHRISTmas 2011. My wife bought me an analog masterbuilt electric smoker. We smoke boston butts and hams every year for bbq and brunswick stew at our church's fall festival. I've smoked hams, turkeys, tenderloin, chicken, and hot wings on my brinkmans but this masterbuilt is a whole different ballgame. I'm just trying to find out from others what I'm doing wrong. Looks like there are folks on here with alot more experience than me so I decided to join up and get some pointers.
