Made me some Pastrami lastnight. Bought a Corned Beef Brisket from Sam`s club. Covered it with Mustard and Cracked Black Pepper. Smoked it allnight to a temp of 185* IT..Let it cool down and sliced it up...Thanks for looking..
I did a soak on it first because they are usually a little to salty for my taste straight from the package...For store bought it came out real good. I have had 3 Sammies out of it today...The next one I do I am going to corn it myself and use a bottom round .Man that is a real nice looking hunk o meat. Did you do the soak first to pull out some of the salt and other spices or just rub it and smoke it ?

Last year we bought them at $1.48 per lb on sale. It will be interesting to see how much they go up this year?
